Fieldwork planning, weather provided

Jan will depart this Saturday (15/11) to Cape Town. If all goes well, he will arrive at Princess Elisabeth Base on 18 or 19 November. The first days he will get field training and prepare the equipment. He will join a group of scientists on a traverse from the base to Derwael Ice Rise (24/11) and help with the ice drilling there. He will then move to the Roi Baudoin ice shelf (around 1/12) where he will deploy the weather station and do the radar and drilling work. The plan is to return to Princess Elisabeth on 15/12 and fly back to Cape Town on 18/12.
